Walking Club Summer 2008 walks as follows: 20 July - Walk out to Wassenaar and then back on the beach to Scheveningen. 3 hours approximately, with a stop for refreshments. 31 August - Nick Macey will bring us for a lovely walk around the Amersfort Area. Approximately 3 hours with occasional stops for snacks. Ladies your night out again! The second gathering of Mná na hÉireann will take place on Friday the 9 th of May. We have a lovely location: The Carlton Ambassador hotel.Address: Carlton Ambassador Sophialaan 2 2514 JP Den Haag The Netherlands A three course dinner will be served, starting at 7:30 pm, places are limited… Guest speaker : Justice Teresa Doherty, Special Court for Sierra Leone. She will tell us her experiences about her time as a judge in Papua New Guinea, the problems of adapting to the different cultural attitudes, particularly the attitudes to women and women’s rights .
